SUGGESTION: Rain and Slipery!
Submitted
Add rain in different strengths (water or other liquids) to the planets. :-)
During and shortly after the rains when having been heavy, the slippery effect could be increased, means, that inclinations of hills attract a stronger downward-movement of unanchored objects than otherwise. Also affecting a player standing or walking on a mountain. easier now to slide down unintentionally (or intentionally).

That's something different yet a bit similar.
My suggestion stands on its own. So, voting here can make it happen.

That's a lot of work and honestly i would prefer keen be focusing on squishing bugs, fixing their netcode, removing memory leaks and optimizing the game rather than adding more features.

Yes, agreed - those tasks are important, too. Even with priority. After all, engineering solutions is what we all have to do - in the game or in real life.
Still, see it that way: such effects will add to the game experience, and game experience translates into sales and incoming money. :-D
Having said that, I now also say that I enjoy the game already, a good job done.
SIDE NOTE: when having Firefox browser open and the game, the computer slows down more and more, up to almost a halt for browser and game...
