Night Mode (For Sound)

In Space Engineers, some sounds are too loud and some of them are too low. For example grinding with helmet is off is too loud, I always put my helmet on in pressurized environments when using my hand grinder. On the other hand I have to increase volume a lot to hear environmental sounds like birds, wind, wheels..etc. It is quite uncomfortable for me as a person who don't use headphones.
My idea about is a night mode. In a game called World of Tanks, there is a Night Mode for sounds. It levels out volume differences, reduces sharp sounds and minimizes low frequencies in game, providing a comfortable and soft sound environment for late night gaming.

It's very annoying to have too loud hand grinder/welder sound. If I lower the volume, then I don't hear anything else other than hand welder/grinder sounds.
