Ideas to make the Store Block better for Player Stores

Admin tab:

  1. Search box to find the items for both Offer and Order
  2. Filter checkbox to show only items attached to that store's conveyor network. This would allow an easier way to sell what we have on hand.
  3. Amount line in New Offer needs 2 things. MAX button to fill the qty. of that item in connected storage AND an UNLIMITED checkbox. This would allow us to sell, for example, unlimited qty of uranium or hydrogen as long as there is stock. Buy page shows qty in stock, or sold out. It auto-adjusts if the seller adds more stock to the connected containers without needing to create a new offer. Listing fees can be deducted at time of purchase.
  4. Bigger item window, especially the Offer. It might be my ultrawide resolution, but I see only 3-4 items at a time. (See attached pics)

CREDIT TRANSFER - We need to be able to trade credits with other players. There is the offer and sell, but no direct credit transfer. We do a lot off bartering on our server, and dropping several million physical credits into a container from an ATM is pointlessly tedious. Maybe just have the ability for the ATM block to have transfer to owner tab?

Other nagging issues

  1. Offer/Order maxes out at 99999? Seems silly, especially for things like ores and hydrogen.
  2. Tooltip info when hovering over item in Buy and Sell tabs, especially for food. It would be nice to know how the food fills before buying.
  3. Items can be removed from cargo and the offer still is active. There is no system to lock offered items as tagged for sale and not move out of inventory. You do get a "not enough amount" warning, but could be better.

SIDE QUESTS - Ideas that would be fun, but not if it distracts from the fixes above:

  1. DEPOSIT BOX - Event controller-esc block. Player deposits X amount of credits to trigger an action. Allow for things like unlocking a hangar door for ship access. Could be abused, but no more than the current event controller and sensor for griefing.
  2. SELL SHIPS/GRIDS - Add grid sales to the store block. Maybe transfers stored grids to another player? Maybe it spawns, but only in a safe zone? A LOT of details to work out on this for balance. Obviously you want to buy a working ship, but also on our server we want to sell just the large refinery block. Use the repair/salvage math (without the penalties) to give an "MSRP" based on blocks on the grid.

There is also no log of what was sold / bought, and by whom, for store owners. If added, this needs to be a persistent ledger, not session-based.

Proceeds and fees need to be tagged to go to a particular player or to the faction bank.

Definitely needs to be looked into.

Oh, faction trading needs to be a thing too. Each member (or based on level/permission) can post and edit faction offers. The money goes to the faction balance, not the player.
