Armaggedon is broken

Hi.
Recently, I activated Armageddon, and then totally forgot I had activated it. I had not previously played in this mode, it was the first time, I typically play in creative, so I get lost building and engineering.
After hours of playing and going into space and doing my base there, suddenly I get the Armageddon achievement: Death Wish.
There were a few occasions during my playtime when a meteor storm occurred, accompanied by a few small rocks that appeared at a considerable distance from my base. At times, I was unaware that a meteor storm was occurring, and I never felt threatened by it, to the point where I didn't even remember I had activated it.

Please rest assure that the Armageddon and the achievement itself is working by design.
The behavior you see is from the current changes in how meteors work.
While not bug, it is still a valued feedback/notice to us. I will move this thread to our Feedback forum, that is monitored by designers.
