Teleportation to instantly travel between nearby planets, stations, and ships.

I think there should be a type of teleportation module added where you can instantly travel between planets, ships, and stations within a certain range.
I think to make it fair, you should have it where you need two teleportation modules (belonging to the same faction) in order to instantly travel back and forth (i.e one on a planet, one on a ship in space). Place a teleportation module in each area you want to travel to, and you can instantly port over to it and back. It would be very helpful for those times when you are planetside and need to travel back to your ship or space station quickly without having to spend a lot of time flying out up to it.

The idea of teleportation for instant travel between planets and stations is so fascinating—it really feels like a glimpse into the future of space exploration. Technology like that could completely change how we think about distance and travel. For now, though, a relaxing stay at an RV Park Midland TX is a much more down-to-earth way to enjoy a little adventure.

Now with APEX update a proper teleportation system might be really needed. We've been using teleportation all the way by turning off the medical bay / survival kit temporarily and suicide, and it was really a common thing, I'd say a part of the gameplay :). Now with new baffs and "meaningful" death thing suicide is not a practical solution anymore (I like how it sounds ridiculous). But the need for quick travel with your engineer is still there, so having a proper way to teleport would be a nice and logical addition to the game.
It can be done in different ways.
1. Teleportation Blocks.
Have a teleportation block. You need to build 2 of these blocks so you can enter one and exit from the second one. The exit might be selected from the list of available other teleportation blocks. You might need them to be in your antenna range. This would probably make players use more laser antennas if they want to travel (teleport) over larger distances.
2. Teleport to Coordinates (Start Trek fashion).
You have only one teleportation block and you can chose the destination coords to teleport to. Once you are there you can freely move and come back when "turnback" a command is executed. You might need someone else to trigger the command, a timer, or you can access it and trigger trough antennas ofc. The greater the distance the more power you need. The power is consumed continuously while you are using it, so for long "sessions" you will end up using a lot of power, something on par with safe zone when going to the surface of a planet from orbit as an example, and it grows exponentially with the distance (square function), so theoretically you can travel (teleport) from one planet to another but you will need an absurd amount of power. If you run out of power you die.
3 Mind Transferring (Avatar fashion, kinda).
You need to have another body on the other side. A clone factory block might be needed to produce, well, clones. Then you can store them inside cryo chambers (those you usually use for offline sleeping on servers). While sitting in another cryo chamber, you can transfer your mind into different clone and you need it to be within antenna range ofc. When you transfer your mind into another clone, the original body becomes a clone you can teleport back whenever you like, or some other faction member can teleport into it if shared. For simplicity it could always be converted to engineer model of the current player occupying the clone.
Which one is more suitable for the game? Or maybe all 3 :)
