diagonal timbers in blueprints wont work in survival

some sizes of diagonal timber will not be placed in a blueprint in survival mode. in my case, these are 1x1 and 2x2, so i suspect its all diagonal timbers other than 10x10. ive attached a screenshot showing this happening
