after 2 patches of the game. My character has a strong food drain and cant run or jump

Been playing with the map ok. 2 patches in. I wasnt using any mods even though I've subscribed to them. Controls went wonky.
- My character has a constant 2 arrow food drain for normal walking.
- my character cant run. Shift or capslock doesnt work
- my character cant jump
I've tried verifies, reboots, removing the *.cfg files with no improvements.
Even wierder. I created a new map. My character can run there. But still cant jump.
