Dispute the errors in the reports
Even though all I owe is a single loan for $600.00, my record shows 17 bad items. They won't remove these items from my credit record, even after I've filed many disputes. Nelnet has paid off all of my student loans. I just paid off an 800.00 debt. I should only be left with one debt. Upon attempting to get in touch with the company from whom I obtained the funds, they verified that I only had one loan. Afterward, I contacted all three of the CRAs, and each of them confirmed that the data was accurate. I disputed the errors, but they never replied. Someone from this firm, https://consumerattorneys.com, is the attorney I want to employ. Is this the right choice I made? How long would it take to correct all of the inaccurate information in the reports?
