Unable to add hotkeys when piloting a ship

After using left stick and B, I am unable to apply the hotkeys to any of the four slots

I have the same bug
I am having the exact same problem ever since the latest update (which has been fantastic in every other way)! Any ship I spawn in that has more than 6 previously set block groups hotkeyed to my Dpad will go grey and when I attempt to re-map them to my block group it will instead empty the binding and not allow a single more block group to be applied to any free Dpad slot 😔
Game breaking ! Now I can only build stuff that requires 4 or less block groups 😳
