Grid accent shadows flicker/pulsate/clip since Hostile Encounters update, at any graphics setting
SUMMARY
Since the recent Hostile Encounters game update, all block accent shadows flicker/pulsate/clip constantly. Changing graphics settings does not stop it: it happens with everything lowered to minimum and with everything raised to maximum. Shadows resulting from the sun or a light source hitting a solid object seem unaffected.
I'm running the game on Linux through Proton.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Space Engineers 2
2. Load Concordia Research Facility
3. Look at catwalk surfaces, grooves on completed armor blocks, incomplete armor blocks, accent shadows on production/function blocks.
EXPECTED
Shadows stay stable.
WHAT I'VE TRIED
- Set all graphics settings to minimum: flicker still occurs.
- Set all graphics settings to maximum: flicker still occurs.
- Turned raytracing off and switched anti-aliasing away from FSR
