Losing interactivity with grids \ including ability to weld grind etc.

I have no idea what causes it, but it's been around since survival at least, and hasn't really gone away.
For apparently no reason some blocks will just lose all interactivity, or the 'angle' that you're allowed to is wildly off.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Cockpit blocks (Suddenly can't enter ship)
- Container blocks (Suddenly can't access inventory from 'ports')
- Any other block (Suddenly can't weld or grind regular blocks, but going around to their 'other side' SOMETIMES works.)
