Anomalous behavior of gyroscopes on rovers
I've started building a rover with three axles and initially equipped it with eight wheels: four wheels on the front steering axle, two on the middle axle, and one on the rear axle (with the initial configuration later modified).
I had to remove the middle axle and its two wheels because they were interfering with the rover's steering.
However, the gyroscopes seem to generate an unexplained force that destabilizes the entire vehicle. The rover gets lifted and ends up resting on only one or two wheels, at varying angles, while continuously bouncing up and down. This happens even though all atmospheric thrusters are disabled.
The behavior appears to be directly related to the gyroscopes, as the rover remains stable when they are switched off.
I've also attached a video showing exactly what happens when the gyroscopes are enabled, and the save game file.
