acceleration vs deceleration with dampeners on
Submitted
While flying back to my base to unload before retaking the mission (70km away) I found that accelerating my ion thruster miner took 30km to get up to 1080 km/hr, however on deceleration (dampeners on) with the exact same thrust in the opposite direction only took about 10km.
I have the same bug
Super Dampeners are on by default.
You can disable them in the world’s advanced settings (Load → Select your world → Advanced Settings—the cogwheel in the center).

I have even more rediculous example of dampeners "bug":
If you will load 110% of take over weight on Verdur planet, then turn OFF dampeners and pull all throttle UP - you will stay on planet - overload. But if you will turn ON dampeners and pull all throttle UP - you will succesfully go to space with 110% of weight on board. Dampeners creates a vacuum above your ship pulling it up ? :)
