Rocket Launch Site quest fails, rocket destroyed

I've run the Rocket Launch Site quest as part of the new Hostile Encounters tutorial twice in a row. I've gotten everything supposedly done, the rocket launches.... and then half a minute later is destroyed on the way up, and the contract fails.
As I said, I've run it twice in a row and this happens, so it seems I'm blocked until the quest is fixed. I get a report that I reclaim the PCU for the rocket after it is destroyed, I'm not sure if that matters or not with respect to the bug.

I figured out that the rocked has a build in explosive charge which is set to explode 30 seconds after launch.
Probably something very easy is wrong in this mission script, like the condition to win the mission is flipped to fail instead of win.
I went up to space with the rocket and deactivated the explosion sequence, the mission simply doesn`t finish, the rocket flies forever, only after I grind the explosive charge the message that mission failed is shown, where, as said before, I think is the main issue.

I have same problem ive tried it 4 times and triple chiacked everything even tried starting game over and playing straight though with out stopping and saving.
using debugs fine but it adds messages all the time telling you you used it up to the week before this new patch.
the only thing i can say is different to before the patch is the sporn location of the event is now near where a lake mite appear when they add water so is lower than the side off kill so lot lower. if its an alttitude thing. still loving it thow

Same here, every part of a contract works just fine, just a little while after the rocket lauches, it explodes and contract is failed.

Same here with the current stable Proton version on Linux. Maybe a bug introduced in today's hotfix?

Same here also, I think the contract is missing the final step that should complete before the rocket is destroyed. It's a gamebreaking bug though as this contract is the condition to unlock O2/H2 Generator.
