Hello Keen Software House team,

As a longtime fan of the franchise, I wanted to share some constructive feedback regarding the current state and development focus of Space Engineers 2.

Slow Content & Mechanical Blocks Rollout in SE2 The current state of Space Engineers 2 still feels sparse when it comes to core gameplay mechanics and variety in mechanical blocks. Given the time SE2 has been accessible, progression in terms of actual gameplay depth and building variety is moving slower than expected for a standalone sequel.

Misplaced Resource Focus (SE1 vs. SE2) It is frustrating to see team resources and updates still being heavily poured into Space Engineers 1. SE1 already benefits from an incredible community and thousands of Workshop mods that can transform the game completely. Rather than continuing to push updates to a decade-old title that the modding community effectively supports, resources should be fully concentrated on making Space Engineers 2 a feature-rich, deep experience.

Involve and Compensate Top SE1 Modders The modding community has proven time and again how much innovation they can bring to your engine. If the internal dev team is facing bandwidth or design bottlenecks in creating new content and blocks for SE2, consider officially hiring, contracting, or compensating the most talented SE1 modders. They already understand the game mechanics deeply and could help rapidly accelerate the delivery of rich, high-quality vanilla content for SE2.

I really want Space Engineers 2 to succeed and become the true next-gen engineering sandbox we all hoped for, but to achieve that, the core game needs more depth and dedicated development focus over updating SE1.

Thank you for your hard work, and I hope you consider this perspective from the community.
