Ship H2 tanks in Auto mode not filling at Vallation Station

Docked Aquila at Vallation Station with 80% full H2 tanks set to Auto mode. Tanks did not fill. Switched them to fill and they filled to 100%.
If an H2 tank can be filled in Fill mode when docked then it should fill (slowly?) in auto mode (but not Empty mode) when docked to station.

The hydrogen in the station tanks is not infinite, and now they start at ~3%, so just connecting doesn’t fill your tanks anymore.
