Grasshopper gets stuck to ground

I'm finding the grasshopper provided in the new game start playthrough tends to get stuck to the ground, especially when trying to dock to the connector in the safe zone at the barn. Seems to be some kind of glitch between the priority of landing gear vs connector. after having that issue at the barn, I also had it on the landing pad at the abandoned mine and at the power generation facility. Seems keeping the landing gear turned off and turning off the connector if it gets stuck mostly fixes the issue, but sometimes this results in the ship suddenly teleporting vertically upwards by about 50 m or so.
