Airships get stuck when landing on platforms

I just started playing the game today, and this is an extremely frustrating problem that I'm already encountering. I've searched through multiple online sites for a solution, and found nothing, except for what seems to be an identical (or near identical) problem in Space Engineers 1. Unfortunately, the solution to that problem is exclusive to #1, and can't be used in SE2.

The problem is thus:

Whenever I land an airship on a platform that is part of a different grid (park it and/or power it down), it gets stuck. If I turn it back on and unpark it, it will be locked in place. The atmospheric thrusters will roar and spit fire to no avail. The ship will be utterly and completely immobile, as if it had been welded to the platform it landed on.

The first time I landed a ship, it was the tutorial aircraft that you fly to the outpost. I successfully docked it to the outpost's connector. All was well. I later flew it off again for the second contract mission (get resources from the mine). I then landed it on the platform out in front of the mine, where there was NOT a connector to dock it at, and that's when the problem started.

I heard banging noises coming from behind me on the platform, like something breaking really loudly. Concerned, I went back and tried to fly off with the ship again, only to find it behaving as if the landing gear had glitched into the platform plates and fused with them. It would not budge so much as a micrometer. Absolute mathematical immobility.

Puzzled, I tried parking and unparking, turning off and on, getting in and out, all several times. Then suddenly, as I was standing on the platform, staring at it, is just... despawned. That's right. Right it front of my eyes, it just vanished into thin air.

Completing the mission without the airship was an adventure, and a royal pain. But I did it. Then I got the next mission (Investigate the power plant). Seeing that the objective marker was a whole 6km away, and the terrain was proving un-navigable for the Rover that you find at the barn, I decided that I needed to build my own first airship to replace the one that the glitch robbed me of.

I build it on an open patch of dirt next to the barn, starting with a structure block placed on the ground that I deleted once the ship was finished. This took a long time (it was my first ship). But upon completion, it worked! It was even better than the previous ship! I was so proud of it! I flew it around a bit, and loved it.

But then it came time to try docking it...

I brought it in towards the connector on top of the barn, landed it, and hit park. Unfortunately, I didn't match up my new airship's connector closely enough with the one on the barn's roof. Seeing this, I hopped back it, started it back up to adjust it, and... It was glitch-fused to the deck, just like the last ship.

And that's where I am as of writing this post. The game is paused with me in the cockpit of my bug-stuck ship as I type here. I have already hopped in and out a few times to no avail, and I am terrified that if I do anything more, it wall just vanish like the last ship, forcing me to re-mine all the metal for it, re-smelt all the parts, and -rebuild it all over again, from scratch, by memory, as best as I can.

Does anyone know what went wrong? Is there a simple fix to untick these ships? Some game feature that I don't know about as a brand-new player that is causing this? Or is this an actual major bug that I have found in this early access game that I will have to wait for a fix on?

Please advise.

Update: This is definitely a bug.

I went back to the game, and in the course of fiddling further with the controls, tried shutting the ship down without parking it. A few seconds later, the game rendered a visible explosion from inside my ship, and the camera started glitching all around at a very low framerate, my view jumping to the left and right and up and down, and rolling randomly to slightly different angles every half-second or so, but staying more or less behind the ship.

"OK..." I thought, "THAT's not supposed to happen." I figured that whatever this glitch is, it is also causing the game engine to say that it is damaging part of the ship, until that part gets destroyed. Which was also confirmed after the screen stopped shaking like a Call of Duty player trying to snipe someone at 2 frames per second. I tried to turn the ship back on, and it wouldn't.

Another update: As I continue playing, I find that this bug ALWAYS happens now. Even when successfully connecting to another grid's connector. ALWAYS. No exceptions. If I press park/connect when stopping my ship, ANYWHERE, under ANY conditions, even on open ground, far away from any other grid or base, and regardless of if I power the ship down or not, the ship will be frozen in place when I unpark it, forcing me to reload the game from a save point before I got stuck. Period.
