Oil and other liquid resources
Not Enough Votes
The presence of liquids in the game opens up many possibilities for introducing new resources. Oil extraction and refining is the most obvious example. This would be a good way to extract energy in the mid-game on terrestrial planets. For other planets, liquid methane production could be an example.
