Engines don't automatically decellerate

Hi Devs

Playing basic Survival has several issues i know however this one basicall ends a game as you have to start over.

in short, built a ship with a loading bay, docking port etc. loaded the miner onboard and set off. All was going well until i entered the miner. Once i released the docking port und backed out of the bay, my engines (Ion drives) were unresponsive. Acelleration worked, but no braking effect once i stopped giving power.

Only way out was to scrap the miner.

Started a new game, built a rocket powered ship, went and hit the renegade ship. instead of completing the job at location, i parked my attack ship on the renegade ships back. Flew the renegade ship to my base where i wanted to dismantle it.

First off i jumped into my attack ship to undock, engines were working but no brake effect once i stopped acellerating. Sigh.

Giving gas in any direction worked in both cases, Forward, Sideways etc, but the opposing decelleration wouldn't take effect. Ship useless.

Did you use Thrust Override? There are reports that using it can break the dampener system, and it has happened to me too. Usually, removing the affected thrusters completely and replacing them fixed it for me.

If not, are you sure dampeners where on?

As for the renegade ship, the backward thruster did not work at all the one time I tried to fly it. Most of the time, I just scrap the valuable parts on the spot and leave the common components.

I don't touch anything on the settings much, i checked to see if i had perhaps activated a key combo but that was a negative too.

In my case replacing all rockets or ions didn't work.
