Grav Gen Inertia Dampeners
With the introduction of the new engine and thus much larger ships, maneuvering and rotating becomes rather dangerous for the passengers and ships inside. For example I have a kilometer long halo ship I've been working on, with a few mods I have it rotating and accelerating in a similar manner to that of its lore, which it pulls about 20gs just accelerating forward.
The issue I face is the jetpacks inertia dampeners simply cannot keep up with that. Unseated you would be pretty instantly liquified. Rotating is even worse. My ship rotates at a rather ridiculous speed for its size, but even at much lower speeds being at the front or back of the ship unseated is still incredibly dangerous, often pulling 3-10gs. The vast majority of scifi has a solution for this due to the existence of gravity generators in just about everything.
In most scifi such as Star Wars, Halo, Star treck, etc., the gravity generator doesn't just generate gravity, it creates a field within the interior of the ship that locks the inertia of everything inside. Its why we don't see characters getting liquified being thrown into a chair at mach 1 when the make a sudden turn or experience rapid acceleration such as 20-100gs in some situations.
I propose that the gravity generator do something similar, whether it be a module, seperate block, or a feature built in to it. Locking rotation and inertia inside large ships would help tremendously for immersion and fun. It would eliminate the need for inertia dampaners inside of a vessel and(provided it would also work for small ships as well) make docking and launching fighters from a hangar bay while fighting and moving actually possible.
I'm not all together sure if something like this would even be possible with the current engine, but if so I do ask that you please take this under consideration, I feel like a lot of the community would love it, especially for us mega ship builders out there.
