Control Panel should remember collapsed groups and scroll position
Hello Keen team.
I am currently building and configuring a very large mining ship in Space Engineers 2. The ship has more than 100 drills, many thrusters, batteries, tanks, lights, conveyors and other functional blocks.
The current Control Panel UI becomes very hard to use on large grids because block groups do not remember their collapsed/expanded state. After I collapse groups and then create or edit another group, the panel automatically expands groups again and often resets my scroll position.
This makes configuring large ships extremely inconvenient. For example, when I try to group thrusters, drills or batteries, I constantly lose my place in the list and have to scroll and collapse everything again.
Expected behavior:
- The Control Panel should remember which groups were collapsed or expanded.
- The Control Panel should keep the current scroll position after creating/editing a group.
- Ideally, this state should be remembered per grid, or at least during the current session.
This would greatly improve usability for large engineering projects.
