Crafting & Building UX (& flying now)

QoL is very important to SE2 it seems, so in my opinion: the UX is WORSE not better.

First: building.

Cycling through blocks is awful, why r? why is SIZE and VARIANT the SAME KEY?

Just let us scroll to switch between the different variants and press r for the size?!? (Like in SE)

Scrolling back and forth is a way better UX than a ONE way cycle.

Also, bring back the build planner and it's quick keybinds!

Now crafting.

The ui/ux is still a bit of a mess, like the recipe list is on the left, but the "crafter" selector on the OPPOSITE of the screen.. (easy fix just put the selector on the same side as the recipes)

The craft slider has a limit for some reason so it's just worse, add a slider, why not, but don't make it THE DEFAULT AND ONLY way to queue crafts: plz bring back the Shift/Control click thing, it worked fine.

Honestly, taking the base you're trying to fix (SE), the real problem was that the crafting & inventory was in two separate panels, when crafting is inherently linked to the inventory.

The solution that seems appropriate to me would be making the crafting panel have the recipe side be switchable with the inventory,

and i think (though i'm really not sure about this one) the crafter block's inventory could have a button that opens a "pop up" (or modal if that's a thing outside web UIs) crafting UI. These two together would mean still having a dedicated crafting UI without the friction of the current fully split UIs, but also a "shortcut" to quickly craft from the inventory.

Finally something that could've been nice but ends up being annoying: the speed limiter..

plzplzplzplzplzzplz add an option to Disable/Toggle/Hold the "boost". Holding TWO KEYS non stop when flying in atmosphere is awful.

(Also, plz ingots (high prio), nerf backpack crafting (high prio) & aerodynamics (low prio))

I saw a topic about refineries making items, i'm not against the idea of multiple tiers of assemblers, but a SMELTER should smelt ingots, not craft sophisticated parts.
