Ship is completely empty but the UI indicates its 17% full?

Self-Explanatory, in the clip I show my ships storage empty then when exiting the inventory the storage capacity indication in the bottom right of the screen indicates its 17% full when it should display 0%.
This could have something to do with the stations pulling ores out of the players drill when docked and it not registering correctly.
