Build a Relay Station (on Verdure) quietly aborts

The progression contract from Vallation station has you fly down to Verdure to build a relay station.
Build the required blocks, get directed to the little orange cube to hand it over.
Go there.
Get Mission Completed. The box telling you to go there is cleared off screen.
The Active Marker remains active in the box.
The Collect Rewards marker does not appear at Vallation Station.
The Contract Terminal offer to let you ABANDON the contract.
I have a save file at the point that the build is complete and before the 'handover' was attempted, If you want it and let me know which to send.

This issue was fixed with the latest Hotfix - 2.4.0.86. Could you please try to complete the mission again on the latest version? Make sure to first abandon the Contract if it is active.

I verified the build number.
Loaded my latest save, where I had already Abandoned the contract. Abandoned my new contract. Accepted the Relay Station contract.
Flew to the base site.
Found the old relay station still present. Started grinding it and realized that the game thought that the station was completely built.
Flew down to the handover point.
Got the Mission completed message and the local target marker still present. Still no direction to go collect my rewards.
So, not fixed. Sorry.
Thanks for trying.
I might try another cycle after grinding down the earlier station, in case the failed clean is confusing the issue.
