Exiting cockpit puts Engineer in random (nearby) places.

Exiting the cockpit will sometimes put me a dozen meters away in some random spot.

I am obviously standing near the cockpit when I get in since I have to target it and hit 'F' for that.

This is a new save I started just to test the latest update. One example, I went to the Barn and set down. Upon exiting the cockpit I was under the floor I thought. Turns out after grinding through an armor block I was under the floor outside of the piston pit. So I ground a block and was in the piston pit. Ground a second block to get back to the surface.

This happens regularly and usually just throws the Engineer 10m or so away behind something and isn't too much of an issue, but at the Barn it threw me underground. If I didn't have tools for some reason I would have been done.

This seems to happen to me more frequently with this new update. For a FTUE it is not ideal to be tossed out of the cockpit.

Landing at the first safe zone, upon exiting the cockpit I was down on the ground off the landing pad. The Barn was under/next to the piston pit.

I will start another new test save and see if it occurs with that one also.
