Dampener Chaos with overcompensation

There's some issue with ship dampening overcompensating for "phantom forces", making the phantom forces appear much worse. This so far has 2 known issues:

1) A miner, mining inside a tight tunnel with dampeners enabled, will occasionally "spook" the dampeners into pushing the ship's perceived speed over the 72km/h safe speed to push the ship off of the tunnel wall. This is causing miners in tunnels to take damage, or explode entirely, while mining at maybe an actual 1km/h. Turn off dampeners, and mining in a tunnel stops causing damage.

2) Flying with grids attached in any way is known to cause insane "phantom forces", however, again that's just the ship's dampening getting "spooked" and overcompensating, then overcompensating for its own overcompensation. Turn off dampeners, and again, all of this is no longer an issue.

To show just how bad this dampening overcompensation gets I've included my saved game, a setup that will see ship dampening overcompensating up/down turning to the point the ship will actually spin over its own axis, presenting itself while speeding up flying forward and making the SLIGHTEST heading adjustment. But again, if I turn off the dampeners, all issues disappear.

NOTE: Directly upon loading the game, this effect is less extreme and after some obvious escalation, ship dampening will "realise" that it's being an idiot and realign to dead center flawlessly. This only proves that the ship itself is more than CAPABLE of holding steady, but that it just DOESN'T. Unsure what will make this effect worse, and may need some toying with detaching/reattaching the other ships to "restore" the overcompensation to its most extreme axis spinning behaviour.
