5m wheels cannot be placed 5m apart (Redux)

This is a follow-up of a previous ticket dealing with the same issue (https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers2/pc/topic/55522-5m-wheels-cannot-be-placed-5m-apart). I am reopening this issue as I do not believe it was fully understood the first time and the ticket was closed before I could clarify.

In SE2 VS2.3, most wheels can be placed adjacent to each other in line if spaced exactly to their wheel size, measured centerline to centerline. 1m wheels can be placed exactly 1m apart centerline to centerline, 2.5m wheels can be placed exactly 2.5m apart, etc.

5m wheels, and only 5m wheels, do not follow this rule. I have attached a video demonstrating the problem. You can see a 1m wheel placed between two other 1m wheels, each spaced 1m apart from each other as measured from their centerlines. This is likewise the case with a 2.5m wheel spaced 2.5m apart. However, a 5m wheel cannot be placed 5m apart. It must be offset to some amount before it can be placed.

As the previous ticket suggests, this is likely because the occupancy of the wheel collides with its neighbors. The question is, why does no other wheel size have this same problem? The inconsistency is the issue I am trying to address. If the video attached is insufficient to recreate, reach out and I will provide other material. Thanks.
