5m wheels cannot be placed 5m apart

In SE2 VS2.3, most wheels can be placed adjacent to each other in line if spaced exactly to their wheel size. 1m wheels can be placed exactly 1m apart, 2.5m wheels can be placed exactly 2.5m apart, etc.

This is not the case with 5m wheels. If spaced exactly 5m apart from another 5m wheel, you cannot place another 5m wheel. The wheel has to be offset up or down, or spaced greater than 5m in order to be placed.

Hello Husker,

I could place the Wheels 5 m exactly 5 meters apart without an issue. Could you please provide a video recording of this issue?

Thank you for providing a video. From what I can see, you are trying to put the wheels 3 meters apart (1 Armor Block 2.5 m plus two 0.25 m cells). You are unable to place the wheel exactly 3 meters apart as the occupancy (physical space in shape of 25 cm cubes that a Block occupies) of the Wheel prevents it.

As this is intended behavior, I will close this thread as Not a Bug.

I believe you misunderstand my issue. I understand the wheel occupancy prevents it from being placed, but the reason I believe this is a bug is that this is inconsistent with all other wheel sizes. My measure of 5m is from the center line to center line of each wheel. I have attached a screenshot demonstrating placement with 1.5m and 2.5m wheels. This screenshot shows 1.5m wheels placed 1.5m apart center line to center line. Likewise, 2.5m wheels are placed 2.5m apart center line to center line. Only 5m wheels cannot be placed 5m apart center line to center line. The inconsistency is the issue.
