Decorative Fabrics and Functional Fabrics

Decorative Fabrics such as tapestries, shade cloths, canvases, drapes etc. that can be attached to surfaces using a multi point system would increase the visual detail of worlds and provide players a way to diversify their environments. In edit mode, being able to set a texture and/or color would add great decorating options.

Examples:

Being able to load a "pallete" (catwalk) with trunks or barrels and draping a four pointed tarp over the top.

Creating a three pointed shade cloth over a walk way that stretches across three irregularly spaced columns.

Creating colorful tents or pavilion covers by layering multiple multi-point clothes.

"Softening" the interior of a space by draping fabric from the ceiling and allowing it to "sag" at the center.

Points of the fabric can attach to itself to allow corners to hang free. The fabrics could be toggled to have physics and they can move when the player hit box interacts with it and break it vehicle hit boxes interact with it.

Functional Fabrics, multi-point, such as solar sails (which provide momentum equal to insolation received) and flexible, but delicate, solar panels could provide cheap and temporary survival options for power and getting around.
