Block construction - a sequence of parts

A thought...inspired by recent posts.
Good cheer to all who have imagination and insight.
Blocks are an assemblage of components.
Blocks are built in stages.
What if the build stage reflected the components that were being added...
That is :
A structural frame
Part supports
Mechanicals
Electricals
Soft finishings
Coverings/armour
Not every block would require all of these stages, so could duplicates of relevant stages could be used to fill in.
By formalising block construction, recipes could become straight forward in their constituents.
