When loaded into an active world save with V-Sync Disabled (uncapped FPS), Space Engineers 2's render/simulation loop (VRAGE3) saturates the Windows graphics scheduler (dxgkrnl). This starves the Windows Desktop Window Manager (DWM) presentation queue, causing background applications (specifically video streams on secondary monitors, such as YouTube in Chrome) to freeze or drop frames whenever the game window has active focus.

The issue does not occur in the main menu—only once loaded into a live simulation world.
