sensor detecting idea of a corpse

i may have glitched a door sensor by crashing into the door at speeds a body shouldnt be crashing into a door at.
im in a creative world testing balistics convergence and in and out of the ship multiple times in the last few minutes but the last time... i was "coming in hot" and the door took a second to open then wouldnt close when i left the sensor zone...
is it possible for there to be a reminant of a player body that is still there even though in creative you can only really die by triggering it on purpose?
