Holograms won't place or blocks won't weld due to No Connection Point

Solved

Hi,

I'm having this problem repeatedly. Either I'll get all the holograms placed and they refuse to weld in random areas, or in the case I'm showing you in the video, the hologram won't even place. it seems to no like to place the large block in the hole, but IS ok with placing the skinny one, because why?

We shouldn't have to work around this nonsense.

Hello Bruce Carey,

Could you please provide you affected Saved Game? You can publish your World on Steam Workshop and attach the link here.

From the video you've provided it seems like there are more than 1 Grid and as such the projection does not want to attach. You can check this by placing a battery and then a light on each block.
