Grid/Group name retention bugs
Version: v2.0.3.2798 Release Alpha
Bug 1: Whenever a world is loaded from a save, any custom-named Groups of GPS Markers are stripped of their name and reverted to the default name, e.g. Group 1
Bug 2: When a Grid is renamed via top-level Group (access grid > Grid > Control Panel > scroll to top) the name changes don't propagate to the other identical fields (Display Name & "Grid: ") until the Menu is reopened. This is unlike renaming from Display Name subfield, which instantly propagates to other two fields.
Maybe a bug, maybe a limitation: Groups (in a Grid's Control Panel) always re-expand when any change to a Group is made, e.g. creating a new Group. Same thing when a Grid is closed and re-accessed.
Definitely just a feature request:
-when creating a new Group (in a Grid's Control Panel) with only items of a single type, it would be extremely cool to just name the group after the type. Examples:
-creating a Group from 50 Thrusters would name the group Thrusters
-creating a Group from a combo of Corner Lights and Interior Lights would name the group Lights
-dragging of items/groups (in same screen) to re-order Groups or add/remove items from Groups seems like it's a work-in-progress thing already, but I'll ask anyway - please allow us to drag items in/out of Groups or reorder them! would be amazing.
I have the same bug
Build v2.3.0.2798
I have just continued my game after taking a break for a week, and I can confirm Bug 1. The map group that I had placed around the Verdure markers did not retain its name and reverted to Group 1. I had to rename the group and close it again to cut out the noise while exploring the Kemik Sector.
