Identifying Thrusters

The list of Thrusters on my ship is not consistently sorted in the same order. The "first" thruster might be pointing up at one point in time, and then down at another, on the same ship, with no changes - the only thing changing is how many times I open the Control Panel.
Can we please get a consistent order? Build Order would be sufficient.
Also, it would be nice if the name and/or preview window would show the direction the thrust is pointing.
Also, it would be nice to be able to rename them.
