Game crashes silently on initialization if hard drive space is low (also crashes Steam client)
Hello support! I have a bug-ish to report.
When starting Space Engineers 2 with critically low storage space on the main Windows installation drive or the game's active install directory, the application crashes silently instead of verifying disk space or presenting a clear "Out of Disk Space" error dialog. Furthermore, this behavior causes the entire Steam client to force-close or crash along with the game.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Limit free space on Drive C: (I had 10GBs before launch)
2. Launch Space Engineers 2 from Steam.
3. Observe that the game abruptly terminates mid-sentence while initializing and writing to SpaceEngineers.log (cutting off at 'DetailedR...'), taking the Steam client down with it.
Expected Behavior:
The game should perform a system capability/validation check on startup. If storage space is insufficient for pagefile allocation or shader compilation, it should halt gracefully and display a warning notification to the user rather than critically crashing the application.
