Lag and series of game crashes while operating at base in Viridian Halo

I have constructed a small open platform base in The Viridian Halo, near Vallation Station (about 56.6 km away). As I have advanced through the missions and unlocked new blocks, like the Ion Thruster, I have built new ships to use those blocks at that location. I have 4 small ships, plus 4 hydrogen tanks (5m), 5 oxygen tanks (2.5m), 10 batteries (1.5m), 6 storage containers (2.5m), 1 smelter, 1 assembler, 4 solar panels (10m), and the connectors and conveyors to hook everything up and not have the ships sitting right next to each other.

As I have been building the base out and was starting the build of the 4th ship, I have started noticing lag at the base.

Another effect that I have been noticing is trailing ghost echos of the blocks as I move around the platorm. I will try to capture a video of this.

Also, the game has increasingly been crashing at that location. I was playing for only 10 to 15 minutes, and the game would crash on me. Start it back up, crash again. And so forth. The lag and crashing only clears up when I move far enough away from the base.

Attached are the logs for the last several crashes plus when I exited the game and shut down the computer.

I did validate the game files during the crashes, and everything checked out okay.

I did notice there was some sort of download from Steam at around 2:35 am last night, so I don't know if that had anything to do with destabilizing the game. I did not notice a version update with the download, so maybe that was one of Steam's regular local file updates for checking if the game is still installed or whatever they're monitoring.

I'll try to capture a video of the trailing and lag and add it as a follow-up post, along with photos of the base so you have an idea of where it is at. I positioned it so I could see both Palatine and Verdure through the rings. Thought it would make a nice view.

I don't seem to be having the lag/reduced FPS issue that I was last night, so maybe this was due to the long gameplay session that I was having. I did reboot my computer during the crashes, but maybe the reboot wasn't enough to clear out the issue completely.

Base correction. I had 7 storage containers (2.5m) but only 8 batteries (1.5m).
