Can we make wheels auto magentize when parked to be useful on craft in space?

So, when landing a comet with no gravity, and wheels, there must be secondary parts (landing gear) to allow it to not drift if power reserves are low.
Something useful to think about would be to have it act as a landing gear when parked, for landing in space.
