Little ideas for nuclear reactor, maybe that would be interesting.
1) Using uranium right "from the ground" is quite weird, don't you think? How about using some kind of uranium rods. So you can use uranium ore to make rods and then using rods to power up reactors. And turning into uranium waste after a while of using.
You can see Subnautica as an example.
2) Reactor cooling system. More power consuption - more temperature. High temperatures can cause damage or even explosion. To prevent this, you should build reactor cooling blocks or modules.
