Firstly, love the new game and its in great condition for an alpha so far. I was doing this contract and I thought it was odd that the whole base was consumed by terrain, but I still found a way to locate the objectives. here is what's going on and how I am able to clip through the terrain. I have provided a video of the bug. Now I will use this bug to complete the contract.
MISSION: Move crates with Tug.

Mission: complete the Tug, and move the crates back to the hangar.
It would be hard to complete this mission because the base and boxes are 124M inside of a mountain. I guess I could chisel them out over the next 4 days....

I have not experienced such spawn in the two runs I made so far.. Strange.
I read other comments about items spawning in rock/land, I wonder how this can be done, given the map is not so random..

I could not reproduce the issue with the Contract base being spawned inside voxels. Are playing on a save created in VS2.2 or older? As for being able to clip through the voxels, this is a known issue which are working on currently.

I am playing on VRAGE3 v2.2.0.2116 if a contract base is stuck inside voxels again I will try to figure out why its consumed in voxels instead of clipping through it for the quest.

I could not reproduce this on current Game version: 2.2.0.2116, however, it is extremely rare to occur and is dependent on the seed the world is loaded at - it is a known issue, which is reported internally. I have added this thread to our internal ticket (SE2-32445). Additionally, could you please provide your affected Save file?

I asked our Devs about this issue. It seems that since the location of spawn for Contracts is dependent on the seed which the world is loaded on, the Contract bases / Grids can spawn inside voxels. This can affect any Contract however it is mostly visible on the planetary ones.
Since we are tracking this issue in another thread, I will merge this thread to the main one.
