Cannot place conveyor node junction on conveyor adaptor end

Hi, it looks like you can't place a small grid conveyor node junction on a conveyor cap end, except at the single small conveyor port. This means that I can put a node junction at the cap, then I want to put another node junction to the left and right of the one in the middle. It will not let me place it there, nor any other small conveyor parts.

Expectation: I should be able to branch small conveyors immediately from the conveyor adaptor end without having to go one extra conveyor out from the small block.

I haven't noticed any behavior like this..

Could you maybe add pictures, I can't really figure out what you are describing maybe..

Note that you can't replace a block if the removed block had something welded to it, like a light or handrail. That's why the undo/redo does not work peachy for me...

Place the conveyor cap end (the one that is the large to small conveyor converter. Put a small block conveyor node junction (the one that has the ports on all six sides) on the small conveyor side, then try to place another one to the left or right of first one. It was red, indicating it couldn't be placed, though I could go out one more, go left or right from there, and then I could place one in the same spot I couldn't as above.

I'll try to grab a screenshot if it's confusing.

Yep, exactly that, it was red and wouldn't let me place the block, however, I wasn't in creative, I was in survival, dunno if that makes a difference.

Just rebuilt the same config on the same server, seems to place normally, when it happened it was acting like that spot was blocked but absolutely nothing was nearby to block it. I've run into this before where blocks mark as red like you can't build in a spot, you remove surrounding blocks and suddenly you can build there and then put the removed blocks back. The logic there I think has a few issues.

Also appreciate you doing a quick test on your end also, it's the best way for us to make sure the devs are focused on the right stuff.

Did you build the first one in the middle already?

You can not place the ones on the side before building the first one. And yes this might be a bug.

Yeah, i had the middle one there and fully built. I think the 'is something in the way' logic seems to see phantom blocks from time to time, as above, I've seen this with other blocks, but this one I tried two different builds and ran into the same problem on both before filing here. Now today I do the same steps and it's working.
