I’ve put together a comprehensive set of suggestions to make the game’s systems more immersive, balanced, and dynamic. It covers a wide range of areas—from environmental mechanics and ecosystems to logistics and character progression. My goal is to enhance the sense of exploration while offering players more meaningful choices. I’d love to hear your thoughts and contributions!

1. Gameplay and Environmental Mechanics

Night and Lighting

  • Nights are extremely dark, making flying—especially with a ship—unnecessarily difficult.
  • On planets with moons, nights could be dimmer and partially illuminated thanks to moonlight effects.

Temperature and Radiation Systems

  • Radiation and temperature mechanics can be added to planets and space.
  • There should be temperature differences between day and night on planets, and the character can be affected by these changes.
  • In space, there could be significant temperature differences between surfaces facing the sun and those in shadow.
  • Without sufficient protection modules or proper health equipment, the character may take damage from environmental effects such as temperature and radiation.

2. Ecosystem and Resource Systems

Creatures and Life

  • Planets currently feel quite deserted.
  • Adding both passive and hostile creatures could make the game world more dynamic.
  • Resources obtained from these creatures could be used to produce food and medical items.

Plants and Agriculture

  • Harvestable plants should be added, and they can be used to produce food/health items.
  • The ability to farm (greenhouse systems) on large ships or bases would add depth to the game.

Advanced Health Systems

  • Advanced medical equipment should be craftable from plant and creature resources.
  • These items could provide functions such as: Increasing/decreasing body temperature Providing temporary radiation protection Reducing or curing radiation poisoning Health regeneration
  • In the early game, these items could serve as temporary solutions until character modules are unlocked.

3. Transportation and Logistics Systems

Teleportation

  • A teleportation system requiring high energy consumption could be added.
  • This system could enable fast travel between bases and spacecraft.

Drone Logistics

  • Automated drones that transport resources between bases could be added.
  • This system could: Simplify resource transport from different biomes Provide logistical advantages for base defense in terms of missing resources Automatically supply materials during construction Be used for scouting dangerous areas and be re-crafted from the backpack if destroyed

4. Social and AI Systems
  • Friendly and hostile factions could exist on some planets.
  • Relationship levels could be established with these factions and change based on the player’s actions.

5. Character Customization and Progression

Visual Customization

  • Character facial features should be customizable.
  • Spacesuits should be customizable in terms of color, shape, and design.

Modular Suit System

  • Spacesuits should be modular and offer more module slots at higher tiers.
  • Example modules: Additional oxygen capacity Larger battery Increased hydrogen capacity Armor reinforcement Radiation and temperature protection Speed and jetpack upgrades
  • Each module could have both advantages and disadvantages.

Character Level and Research System

  • A character leveling system could be added, and blocks could require certain levels.
  • Alternatively, to preserve the scientific theme, a technology research system could be preferred: Gaining research points by consuming high energy Lower costs for basic modules, higher costs for advanced ones Advanced technologies (e.g., stronger thrusters or risky but efficient tanks) requiring more points and higher character levels

Backpack Upgrades

  • Backpacks should be upgradeable.
  • As they improve, they could enhance: Carrying capacity Construction speed Variety of craftable blocks
  • These upgrades could come with drawbacks such as higher energy consumption.

6. Building and Construction Systems

Placement and Alignment

  • A key combination should be added for proper alignment (balance/leveling system) during construction.
  • Currently, structures can be unintentionally placed at angles.

Blueprint System

  • The required raw materials and resource list should be clearly displayed on the blueprint selection screen.
  • If the blueprint is a spacecraft, technical data such as rotation, acceleration, storage capacity, power storage/consumption, and hydrogen production/storage capacity could be clearly shown.

Blueprint Repair System

  • A Blueprint Repair Station block can be added to enable fast repairs of damaged ships.
  • This system analyzes the ship, detects missing or damaged blocks, and uses blueprint data to automatically initiate a reconstruction process.
  • Repair process: Automatically draws the required resources from the inventory.
  • This system significantly reduces manual repair time, especially for large ships, and makes logistics and maintenance processes much more efficient.

Block and Material Variety

  • The variety of building materials should be increased (e.g., wood, carbon, concrete, steel, etc.).
  • Different materials should have varying properties such as: Durability (HP) Weight

Block Shapes

  • The variety of block shapes should be expanded: Angled pieces (15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°) and their complementary versions Cylindrical blocks
  • These pieces should connect smoothly with each other and exist not only in horizontal but also diagonal orientations.
  • A suggestion system during building could help with selecting the correct block.

Block Management and Listing

  • The block list can be automatically grouped.
  • Custom groups intentionally created by the user should be preserved; during automatic grouping, a selectable warning system should be added to ask whether these groups should be excluded or not.

Defense Systems

  • An energy shield block can be added for bases and ships.
  • With additional blocks that enhance the energy shield: Higher durability Faster regeneration Wider coverage area
    can be provided as upgrades.
  • This system can act as a balancing factor by requiring either high energy consumption or rare new resources.

7. Technical and Balance Improvements

Equipment and Values

  • Having two batteries in a 1.5 m battery module might make more sense.
  • Thruster power should be expressed in Newtons.

Spacecraft Data

  • A technical data panel should be added for completed ships: Acceleration Rotational torque values Storage capacity Material requirements Technological requirements
  • This system would help players optimize designs and contribute to community standards.

Balancing

  • Currently: Materials are too heavy Thrusters are insufficient
  • As a solution: Material weights could be rebalanced More powerful but higher energy-consuming thrusters could be added

Gyroscope

  • Thrusters placed at opposite corners of a ship should be able to rotate the ship like a gyroscope or support existing gyroscopes.

8. Map and GPS
  • Planetary maps could be added.
  • Resources discovered via detectors could be automatically added to the planetary map, along with approximate quantities.
