Rotation of blocks resets all the time

When I want to place a block multiple times (for example three atmospheric thrusters next to each other) I have to rotate it to it's correct orientation for every single block, which is really annoying.
I hope this is a bug, because the rotation should stay at the rotation I've assigned unsell I change it again or it makes undoubtably sense to rotate it (which it doesn't).

I could not reproduce your issue, I was able to place several blocks without them changing their rotation. Could you please provide a video recording showcasing your issue?
