Gyro spin feels unresponsive

Hello there,
I noticed when spinning the ship with Q and E there is a noticable delay to the input/release of the button in comparison to normal jetpack flight.
From what it feels like the angular momentum to time-button-held curve is a e^x curve till max momentum at the start of the button press and a -e^x curve till 0 momentum at the release of the button.
I don't know if it is that way but that's the way it feels and I think the momentum should rather increase and decrease linearily in order to have an immediate torque response.
Maybe a bug even I'm not quite sure.
