Please make space black, or at least provide the option

This perhaps seems trivial, but to me, space really doesn't feel like space when it's got all that... stuff all over the place. In real space you would see stars, planets, a few galaxies, the occasional nebula and nothing else. Elite Dangerous got this about right - even that is somewhat stylized, but it still does a pretty good job of giving the player a feeling of a vast emptiness.
But maybe some people like the cloudy backdrop, in which case maybe make it optional?
