CLANG with connector and landing gear

I just discovered a massive clang in SE2. Connected my miner to the main ship (connector) then locked the landing gear. It took off in a violent spin, accelerated, and I found myself 20km away when the dust settled.

Do you need a BP or something else to look at this? Or is it a known issue?

I can confirm this issue as well and I am experiencing the exact same behavior in my Survival save. In my case, the problem appears whenever a small ship is docked to a larger ship with both Landing Gear and Connector active at the same time. As soon as both systems are engaged, the entire grid starts spinning uncontrollably, accelerates around all axes and does not stabilize on its own. This happens instantly and is fully reproducible on my end.

For context:

  • My setup consists of one large main ship and several small ships that can dock to it.
  • Docking with Landing Gear only works without any issues.
  • Docking with Connector only also works without any issues.
  • The instability occurs only when both systems are active simultaneously.

I recorded two uncut in‑game videos that show the behavior clearly:

  1. Test Case 1: https://youtu.be/nnDlIHTCy5M (the bug occurs at 2:47)
  2. Test Case 2: https://youtu.be/AaMn6G3PdIE (the bug occurs at 2:35)

Blueprints of the involved ships (in case they are useful for reproduction):

Everything worked perfectly in January in this same save. I did not play between January and late April, so I cannot say when exactly the issue started. The only thing I can confirm is that the problem did not exist earlier this year.
