Hydrogen leak?

Need More Information

I'm getting a significant hydrogen leak on my ship. I've tried shutting off the thrusters, shutting of the 02/h2 generator and shutting off the inertial dampeners so the ship would just float around. The hydrogen will still slowly trickle out of the ship, and I cannot figure out how to resolve it.

I'm not sure how I would attach the necessary savegame file to show the ship, but here is the log.

Hello Tim Thorson,

You can attach a compressed Zip file on to the Site. You can also attach a video recording of your issue.

I think I may have attached it. I'm not sure if all the thrusters are off at the moment of the save. I have gone back and forth on testing it.

Edit: the file size is to large to attach a zip of the folder with the savegame. Which file within the folder specifically?

Ok, I think I found out what is happening, at least in part.

I had a small ship docked to my larger ship. The small ship was powered off, by pressing y after docking them. The ship seems to still draw hydrogen for the thrusters despite the ship being powered down, I also had the inertia stabilization thing off. The thrusters do not display any plumes or red coming out of the nozzles. However when I go into the larger ships control panel, I can select and power off the thrusters on the smaller ship, which showed up as on despite being on a powered down ship. When I set them all to off, the hydrogen drain stops.

So there seems to be some odd behavior with a powered down docked ships thrusters pulling hydrogen. This may extend to other components and power, but I did not test that.

Hi, SE2 performs tank equalization. It moves the hydrogen to other tanks, slowly, until they are all at the same level. This also happens when you have more than 1 jet pack fuel in your backpack. When your space suit runs out of hydrogen, the game will take it from both bottles at the same time to refill your suit.

I've found that even if you shut the power off on the grid the tanks will continue to equalize.

I did not attach the seat to the connection ports so it will not steal it for my suit. I also do not mean it is equalizing. I mean the ship literally runs out of hydrogen, I think over 1% per minute, 2 of the medium-ish size containers. I have lots of thrusters and am a bit overpowered, but I made sure I turned them off.
