Cannot open inventory UI without crashing

About a week ago I logged onto SE2 and started playing as normal, but when I attempted to open my inventory to grab a new block the game crashed. I validated the files, messed with the files as I was instructed to do so by a steam discussion board, I even lowered the graphics, but still the game crashes when I try to open the inventory UI. Did I over look some fix or is it just some bug?

Issue has been resolved. Turns out a workshop blueprint I had subscribed to got deleted as I was playing causing a file error every time I opened the inventory because it tried to retrieve a file that didn't exist anymore.
