Game fails to launch with current update
Need More Information
Having not played in a couple months, I tried to do so today after the client update and haven't been successful. When I try to launch the game in Steam, it just shows "launching" for a few seconds and then reverts to a "play" button. The game client does not appear to even open a window.
I checked for a crash log, but the folder is empty. I have fully uninstalled/reinstalled/rebooted without effect on this behavior.
This is an unfun one of these to write because the program isn't giving me any of the information, crash logs, or error messages which I would otherwise share with you. I'm at a loss for what to try next here.

What is the OS you are using? Are you running Steam and / or Space Engineers 2 in Compatibility mode? If so, please try to disable it and then launch the Game again.
Additionally, are you able to launch the Space Engineers 2 ModSDK? It should be present in your Steam library under Tools.
